Mission statement: Our Academy aims to equip aspiring and current dog trainers with comprehensive skills and knowledge prior to accreditation, ensuring you have the right tools to effectively teach others.

Who we are: Companion Dog Trainers Academy is led by Alexis Robertson and Lyn Wilson, two passionate and experienced dog training professionals with over 40 years of combined experience in the field.
Alexis began her journey in 2007, with a level 5 diploma from Harper Adams University and an accredited member of the IAABC and PDTI Alexis specialises in working with fearful dogs who struggle with life, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our academy.
Lyn started her career in 2000. An accomplished instructor in various dog activities including agility, hoopers and scent work. Lyn has extensive experience in running training schools and workshops. She is accredited with BIPDT and PDTI. Lyn brings a huge wealth of experience to our academy.
Together, we bring a diverse range of skills and expertise to our courses, combining academic knowledge with practical experience. Our passion for continuous learning and dedication to helping others achieve their goals in dog training make us ideal mentors for aspiring trainers.
